Frequently Asked Questions
Directional planning bands are about AED 45–90 per square metre for standard fixing labour, AED 800–1,800+ for many small kitchen backsplash scopes, and AED 120–450 per square metre for bathroom wall tile supply and installation depending on finish and preparation. Removal, wall repair, waterproofing, large-format handling, access and VAT need a separate quote.
Tiles and grout are not the complete waterproofing system. We check the wet-area build-up and identify whether a compatible tanking or waterproofing stage is required before tiling. Waterproofing, plumbing leaks, drainage and reinstatement are confirmed separately in the written scope.
Possibly, after checking the wall flatness, tile weight and format, handling route, adhesive system, access and the manufacturer requirements. Large-format or stone work is quoted after those checks rather than treated as standard wall tiling.
Only after checking that the existing tiles are sound, dry, flat and well bonded, and that the added thickness works around doors, worktops, sanitaryware and outlets. Removal and substrate repair may be the safer option.
Either is possible. Send the tile model or supplier link, dimensions, quantity, batch information and delivery timing. We confirm wastage, adhesive, grout, trims, handling and whether the material is suitable for the wall and room before installation.
A straightforward, prepared backsplash may take around one to two working days, but outlets, removal, wall repairs, pattern repeats, curing and building access can change the programme. We confirm timing after seeing the measurements and photos.
Some Dubai buildings and managed communities require contractor registration, lift booking, protection, working-hour controls or a landlord or facilities approval, especially for demolition, wet-area changes or commercial fit-outs. Share the building and access rules so they can be included in planning.
