It depends on the room and use. Porcelain is common for living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and high-traffic zones; ceramic, marble, and other natural stone can suit different budgets and finishes. Outdoor or pool areas need a suitable slip-resistant specification.

A hollow sound occurs when there are air pockets under the tile. We prevent this by properly back-buttering the tiles and combing the adhesive on the floor with the correct trowel, ensuring full contact.

Timing depends on area, tile format, pattern, preparation, removal, access, grout and curing requirements. A small room is scheduled differently from a full apartment, villa, outdoor area, or occupied commercial space; we confirm the programme after reviewing the scope.

Indicative Dubai bands are about AED 35–90 per square metre for standard fixing labour, AED 120–200 per square metre for ceramic supply and installation, AED 180–350 for porcelain, and AED 350–700 for marble or natural stone. Wet-area waterproofing depends on the existing build-up and the renovation scope, but it should be assessed before new tiles cover the floor or walls. We identify whether waterproofing, drainage, screed, or substrate repairs need to be included or coordinated before tiling.
